Understanding Parenting

“Am I ready to be a parent?” This is a question a lot of people ask no matter their age, finances, or relationships. Like the other options for your unplanned pregnancy, parenting may be a difficult choice to make. No one is fully equipped to step into the role of parent, but many single-women do it successfully.

Questions About Parenting

It would be nice if babies came with instructions or a parenting guide. Unfortunately, each situation is unique, but there are some questions to consider:

  • If I do not have the support from my family or partner, can I still parent?
  • Can I continue school or further my career goals while parenting?
  • What can I do if I don’t have medical care?

Together, we can help you find the answers to the above questions and more. We will work on finding the solutions to equip you in your next steps. Many women choose not to parent because they don’t feel they have the support they need. However, there are more resources today than ever before for women who choose to parent on their own.
