How long will the appointment take?
Allow one hour for the initial appointment.
Is this a medical clinic?
Yes, as a limited medical facility, we provide selected medical services related to pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. We are under the direction of a licensed medical doctor.
Do I need an appointment?
We encourage appointments to eliminate wait times, but walk-ins are accepted at all of our locations.
Will my mom find out I visited Mosaic PHC?
As a limited medical facility, we have a strict confidentiality policy and adhere to medical confidentiality practices. No matter what service is provided, your results and information are kept private.
Can I bring children with me to my appointment?
We suggest that you make arrangements for your children during your visit to Mosaic PHC or have someone come with you to watch them during your appointment.

What type of pregnancy test do you provide and how accurate is it?
We use One Step I.M. Diagnostics (self-administered) and Early Pregnancy Test (nurse-administered) that are 99% accurate.
When will I get the results of my pregnancy test?
You will receive the results during your pregnancy test appointment.
I know that I'm pregnant. Why should I have an ultrasound?
Although a positive pregnancy test may be accurate, up to 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage. An ultrasound can determine if you have a viable pregnancy (a pregnancy that is likely to continue to full term) and how far along you are.
I am pregnant and I don't have insurance. What do I do?
During your pregnancy test appointment, we can share many resources with you and provide you with a proof of pregnancy form for Medicaid.

We provide testing and treatment for chlamydia and gonorrhea.
How are the tests performed?
A urine specimen is collected at our office.
How long does it take for the results?
The results will be available after one week. Our nurse will contact you regarding the results.
