Ultrasound

Is my pregnancy viable? How far along am I? Is there a heartbeat?

After receiving a positive pregnancy test result, an ultrasound can provide you with additional information on your pregnancy status. Various studies have shown up to 1 in 4 pregnancies are non-viable and will end in a natural miscarriage. Before making any decisions, a pregnancy ultrasound can determine the viability of your pregnancy and even diagnose an ectopic pregnancy (out of womb), which can be a dangerous condition and require immediate medical attention. Your options regarding your pregnancy will also be affected by how far along you are. An ultrasound will provide accurate measurements and the gestational age of your pregnancy.

For clients who qualify, Mosaic PHC's licensed sonographers will perform a free ultrasound that is confidential (it will not show up on your insurance) and provide you with accurate information on your pregnancy status. Ultrasounds are available at all of our locations, often on the same day as your pregnancy test/initial consultation. Contact us or visit one of our locations today.
