How much do you charge?

All of our services are free of charge.

How long will the appointment take?

Allow one hour for the initial appointment.  

Will I need to bring anything with me?

Please bring a photo ID. If you do not have a photo ID, a picture will be taken upon your arrival.

Is this a medical clinic?

Yes, we provide selected medical services related to pregnancy and STIs.

Do I need an appointment?

We encourage appointments, but walk-ins are accepted at all of our locations.

I have a job. Do you have any appointment times convenient for me?

Yes, we have a variety of morning, afternoon, and limited evening appointment times. Contact us today and we'll work with you to schedule a time that's convenient for you.

I don't live close to any of your centers. How can I find a pregnancy center near me?

Go to optionline.org for information on other pregnancy centers.

Will my mom find out I visited Mosaic PHC?

As a limited medical facility, we have a strict confidentiality policy and adhere to medical confidentiality practices. No matter what service is provided, your results and information are kept private.

Can I bring children with me to my appointment?

We suggest that you make arrangements for your children during your visit to Mosaic PHC or have someone come with you to watch them during your appointment.

What type of pregnancy test do you provide and how accurate is it?

We use One Step I.M. Diagnostics (self-administered) and Early Pregnancy Test (nurse-administered) that are 99% accurate. 

Do you provide material assistance to expectant mothers (diapers, formula, etc.)?

Material assistance is provided at the completion of First Steps - Childbirth and Parenting Classes. 

When will I get the results of my pregnancy test?

You will receive the results during your pregnancy test appointment.

I know that I'm pregnant. Why should I have an ultrasound?

Although a positive pregnancy test may be accurate, up to 1 in 4 pregnancies will end in miscarriage. An ultrasound can determine if you have a viable pregnancy (a pregnancy that will continue to full term) and how far along you are.

I am pregnant and I don't have insurance. What do I do?

During your pregnancy test appointment, we can share many resources with you and provide you with a Proof of Pregnancy form for Medicaid.

Which STD/STIs do you test for?

We provide testing and treatment for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.

How are the tests performed?

A urine specimen is collected at our office.

How much does it cost?

There is no charge for STI tests or treatment.

How long does it take for the results?

The results will be available after one week. Our nurse will contact you regarding the results.

What should I bring with me?

Please bring a photo ID.
